Natalya is on the mend.

On Friday Night SmackDown, Shayna Baszler defeated Natalya with the Kirifuda Clutch and followed with a knee strike to the face afterward, which led to Natalya bleeding.

Update: POST Wrestling was told by multiple people with knowledge of the situation that the strike to the face on SmackDown was a cover reason as Natalya was due to have nasal surgery.

The match was taped a week prior on October 28th as part of the SmackDown double taping and did not air until this past Friday.

Natalya posted the following update on Monday with a photo from the hospital:

We moved my dislocated nose back to the center of my face where it belongs!! I love the shape of my nose and it will stay the same, thank goodness! Can finally breathe again🙏 Pain is beauty! LFG! 😂 pic.twitter.com/V6zZTivjHQ

It is unknown if the performer is going to be missing any additional time.

Oh wow! So that blood was real. Kind of funny how with hindsight being 20/20 that so many on social media were making fun of the spot saying the blood “looked so fake”. People see what they want to see.

Wish her a quick recovery.
