Impact Wrestling held their ‘Bash at the Brewery’ event Friday night from San Antonio, Texas featuring a tag title switch.

Ethan Page and Josh Alexander, who comprise the team of The North, defeated Santana and Ortiz of LAX to become the new Impact tag champions. The switch sets up a three-way match for the titles on the Slammiversary card Sunday night in Dallas.

Initially, LAX was to defend the titles against Dez and Wentz of The Rascalz, who will also be part of the new title match.

Here is the updated card for Slammiversary:
*Brian Cage vs. Michael Elgin for the Impact title
*Rich Swann vs. Johnny Impact for the X Division title
*The North vs. LAX vs. Dez & Wentz for the Impact tag titles
*Taya Valkyrie vs. Rosemary vs. Su Yung vs. Jessicka Havok in a Monster’s Ball match for the Knockout’s title
*Tessa Blanchard vs. Sami Callihan
*Rob Van Dam vs. Moose
*Killer Kross vs. Eddie Edwards
*TJP’s X Division Open Challenge

Good for Page & Alexander. Hopefully it’s a longer reign than just two days.

I read on the Observer site that LAX have their deals ending later in the summer, and that WWE and AEW reportedly have interest. Anything out there to back this up?

Not much to back up in terms of the LAX story. Their contracts are done in August, and Impact has tried to re-sign them.

Both men have young families, and will obviously be going where the best money and opportunity lies.
