A new MLW National Openweight Champion was crowned at Saturday night’s War Chamber event in Philadelphia.

The championship was vacated by Alex Hammerstone after Hammerstone won the MLW World Heavyweight Championship from Jacob Fatu.

The ladder match for the vacant title saw Alex Kane win the title in a match involving Alex Shelley, Myron Reed, Zenshi, and ACH (who was revealed as the mystery “wild card” participant in the match).
