On Wrestling Observer Radio, host Bryan Alvarez stated it was an apprenticeship type of deal where Wayne needs to finish High School first.

Wayne is the son of the late Buddy Wayne with his son beginning to wrestle in 2018.

Wayne has broken out as a star on the independent level and gained tremendous exposure after his match with Joey Janela in DEFY last November.

Very nice. In a similar vein to Anthony Ogogo, someone they’re signing to debut down the road, though I think a little further along than Ogogo in wrestling.
