Title bouts and lineups pushed out for the Golden Series tour.
Coming out of the three-night Wrestle Kingdom 16 stretch, New Japan Pro-Wrestling is moving towards their ‘Golden Series’ tour which is to commemorate the company’s 50-year anniversary. The yearly Anniversary Show is scheduled for March 1st but on the road to that event, a number of matches have been added to January and February dates.
New Japan rolled out announcements for the Golden Series tour and below are the list of matches at the top of the card for the respective show dates in February. The tour kicks off on January 20th and here’s the full card for that date:
January 20th (Korakuen Hall)
- Yuto Nakashima vs. Great-O-Khan
- Kosei Fujita & Ryohei Oiwa vs. Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI
- Tiger Mask & Togi Makabe vs. Taiji Ishimori & Jado
- Toru Yano, Satoshi Kojima & Tomoaki Honma vs. Suzuki-gun (Minoru Suzuki, Taichi & TAKA Michinoku)
- Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato vs. Suzuki-gun (DOUKI, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desperado)
