Yoshinobu Kanemaru played spoiler on Thursday by defeating YOH after countering a Direct Drive attempt and catching YOH with the Leg Cross Samson Clutch for the pin, thus, ending YOH`s chances at advancing.

In the other matches, Dan Moloney beat Clark Connors by count-out after a short but entertaining brawl. Moloney and Connors fought across the floor prior to the bell ringing and saw each throw metal benches at each other. Moloney displayed added aggression and was much more animated than usual.
