New Japan Pro Wrestling of America has announced its first tour of 2020 with five shows scheduled in the new year.

Following the announcement of the promotion’s U.S. expansion plans next year with added touring, they will run five shows at the end of January billed as ‘The New Beginning USA 2020’.

The following dates and venues were revealed on Monday night:
*Friday, January 24th at the St. Petersburg Coliseum in St. Petersburg, Florida
*Sunday, January 26th at the War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee (the same day as the Royal Rumble in Houston)
*Monday, January 27th at the Durham Armory in Durham, North Carolina
*Thursday, January 30th at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida
*Saturday, February 1st at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta, Georgia

The cards will overlap with the Road to New Beginning events in Japan, although no talent has been listed for the U.S. shows.

The New Beginning in Sapporo events takes place Saturday, February 1st and Sunday, February 2nd in Japan.

I live 10 minutes from there, I question running a show there but excited I don’t have to drive 30 minutes to War Memorial where ROH & MLW have run shows

Cool, I’ll definitely check out the Atlanta show.

New Japan’s American offerings have been below mediocre so far. Their production values are mostly garbage (and often delayed before they put them up as VOD.) I hope they put in some time and money to improve their American shows’ look and feel because they seem like D-shows right now up on NJPW World.
