Episode 12 of NWA Powerrr is titled ‘Something To Prove’ and the show kicked off with Tim Storm at the interview desk with David Marquez. Storm made it clear that he is looking forward to facing Nick Aldis later in the show. Aldis then made his way out in front of the crowd and reiterated that he is only competing in the NWA TV Title tournament because there is no one else for him to face in the world title picture.

The NWA National Heavyweight Champion Aron Stevens makes his way to the ring for a non-title submission match against Sal Rinauro who Stevens submitted with what was called a “Mangrovian Clutch”. After the match concluded, Stevens kept the hold in and Trevor Murdoch came in for the save. Stevens dashed to the interview desk with Dave Marquez and was followed by Murdoch. Murdoch stated that he isn’t interested in Steven’s title but is interested in fighting him. Stevens is on a quest for gold so only agrees to face Murdoch if Murdoch puts his spot in the TV Title tournament on the line. Trevor Murdoch would go on to tap out Aron Stevens.

The Pope conducted a sit-down interview with Eddie Kingston and Homicide. Pope specifically mentioned that Kingston is world championship material and did bulk up Homicide’s accolades but his focus was on Eddie Kingston.

Eli Drake came out for a promo with Joe Galli. Eli was interrupted by Colt Cabana when he began talking about Ken Anderson. Cabana mentions that he is a two-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion while Eli has never held the title. Ken Anderson came out and attempted to get at Eli Drake but was held back by Cabana.

There was a match between Tasha Steelz and Marti Belle and Tasha Steelz picked up the victory. After the match, Melina was highly disappointed in Marti and asked has she learned anything from Thunder Rosa. On next week’s program, Zicky Dice will face Caleb Conley in the NWA TV Title tournament.

Tim Storm made his way to the ring for the main event match against Nick Aldis. Aldis came out and was not dressed to compete and said he’s not going to wrestle because the TV Title is not more important than the Worlds Title and doesn’t want to risk getting injured. The crowd and Tim Storm began to call Aldis a coward, but Aldis threw Royce Issacs’ name out there to face Tim Storm in the main event. Royce was surprised but went on to face Tim Storm anyway and was defeated within the six minute time limit. After the match, Aldis approached the ring but standing behind him were Rock ‘n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) who taunted Aldis by getting the crowd to chant “Rock and Roll.”
