NXT 2.0 finished among the top thirty cable programs on Tuesday while experiencing a decrease in the key demo and its overall viewership.
The October 19th episode setting up next week’s Halloween Havoc special averaged 606,000 viewers and 0.14 in the 18-49 demographic, per Showbuzz Daily.
It was NXT’s lowest viewership since September 7th, which was the final show prior to the revamp with the new direction of the program the following week.
This week’s show fell 4 percent in viewers and 7 percent in 18-49 going against the ALCS game between Boston and Houston, and the NBA game between Brooklyn and Milwaukee.
The MLB playoff game averaged 4,141,000 and 1.01 in 18-49 on FS 1 and finished second among cable originals while the Nets vs. Bucks finished fifth with 2,161,000 and 0.86 in 18-49.
NXT’s audience of Females 18-49 saw a notable decrease of 22 percent this week.
NXT’s 12-34 numbers also fell with males down 20 percent and females dropping by 17 percent.
Over the past four episodes, NXT 2.0 is averaging 631,000 viewers and 0.14 in the demo.
Next week’s Halloween Havoc special is the first major show under the NXT 2.0 banner with a headlining match between Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship among several title matches on the show.
Last year’s Halloween Havoc special, airing on Wednesday night against AEW Dynamite, averaged 876,000 and 0.25 in 18-49.
