NXT 2.0 saw a rise in its viewership but fell in the key demo for this week’s episode highlighted by a tag match involving Bron Breakker.

The February 1st edition of the show averaged 619,000 viewers and approximately 170,000 (0.13) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

These numbers represent a 4 percent increase in overall viewership as well as a decrease of 8 percent in the 18-49 demographic from last week. NXT 2.0 finished #39 among cable originals on Tuesday.

The largest demos to fall this week were females 18-34, which fell from 42,000 to 22,000 or 48 percent, and females 18-49 that dropped by 20 percent, per Thurston.

There was a positive with its female 35-49 audience growing 25 percent this week.

Males 18-49 were essentially flat week over week with a 1 percent decrease while men 18-34 improved by 10 percent this week.

The episode went against TNT’s coverage of the Washington Wizards vs. Milwaukee Bucks that finished #10 on cable. The top show on cable was Real Housewives of New Jersey, which aired against the first hour of NXT and averaged 1,099,000 viewers and 0.35 in 18-49.

NXT featured a main event involving Bron Breakker teaming with Tommaso Ciampa against Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde.

In Canada, NXT 2.0 fell 18 percent with an average viewership of approximately 67,000 viewers on Sportsnet 360. This week’s number is in line with their January average of 69,000 viewers in Canada.

The next two weeks of NXT 2.0 will be airing on Syfy in the U.S. due to USA Network’s coverage of the Winter Olympics. This will include the ‘Vengeance Day’ special on February 15th.
