Originally published at NXT 2.0 notes: Two title matches on anniversary show, Zachary Wentz-Wes Lee, The Dyad
On 9/13, NXT 2.0 is going to be celebrating the one-year anniversary of the program. There will be two title matches on the show. North American Champion Carmelo Hayes will be defending his title against an opponent that is going to be decided by an online vote.
Newly crowned Unified NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) are scheduled to defend their belts against The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed). The stipulation for their match will be determined by way of an online vote.
Wes Lee had a one-on-one match against J.D. McDonagh but suffered a loss. His former tag partner Zachary Wentz tweeted out his support of Lee. Wentz was released from WWE in April.

At Worlds Collide, there was an individual in a red hoodie who stopped past Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid’s table to learn more about ‘The Schism’, which is their group with Joe Gacy. That same individual returned to their table and gave hugs to both Fowler and Reid.

There were two promotional vignettes for talents on tonight’s program. One was to promote ‘Sol Ruca’ and the other was to highlight the formal NXT 2.0 debut of Quincy Elliot next week.
Roxanne Perez had a singles match against Meiko Satomura that Satomura was victorious in. After they shook hands, Cora Jade attacked Perez from behind. Prior to the show, Jade asked Satomura for a one-on-one match but Roxanne had already secured that.
At Worlds Collide, Damon Kemp cost The Creed Brothers the NXT Tag Team Title unification match. He explained why and said he always felt looked over in Diamond Mine.
The duo of Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop scored a win over Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.
In match one of Axiom and Nathan Frazer’s ‘Best of three’ series, Axiom got the first win.
In the main event, Tyler Bate teamed with NXT Champion Bron Breakker and they bested Mark and Joe Coffey. Post-match, J.D. McDonagh snuck up on Bate and took him out.
