WWE experienced another strong night of television viewership with NXT 2.0 attracting its largest audience since June.

The August 2nd edition of the show averaged 649,000 viewers and approximately 196,000 (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

The show ranked seventh among cable originals with viewership increasing by eight percent and the 18-49 audience up 15 percent from last week’s program.

It was the show’s largest audience since June 7th and the highest 18-49 number since June 21st.

NXT 2.0 used a similar tactic to Raw as the first thirty minutes of the show aired commercial-free and included the four-way match to determine the new NXT women’s tag champions.

This week’s episode topped last Friday’s edition of AEW Rampage in all the key demos except females 12-34, which they tied AEW with.

The number comes one night after the most-watched episode of Raw since March 2020 amid the recent creative changes and Paul Levesque overseeing that department while replacing Vince McMahon.

In the 18-49 demo, females were up by 28 percent and males increased by 22 percent.

Adults 35-49 were up by 36 percent and adults 50+ grew six percent this week.

The younger audience did not see the same results with adults 18-34 dropping 25 percent from last week and its lowest in that category since July 5th.

In the 12-34 demo, males were equal with last week while females fell 32 percent in that category.

In Canada, the show averaged approximately 47,000 viewers and 18,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. The viewership was up 24 percent from last week and the demo recovered after hitting a stunningly low figure of 4,000 last week.
