Despite an NXT championship match being presented, NXT 2.0 still experienced a roadblock to the top fifty cable programs.

NXT 2.0 was outside of the top fifty cable originals with an average of 613,000 viewers and approximately 176,000 (0.13) in the 18-49 demographic, courtesy of Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

Regardless, it was still the show’s highest 18-49 audience since January 25th and their third-highest mark in the category of 2022.

Viewership for the Roadblock special improved by eleven percent while the key demo audience increased by seven percent.

The show finished #55 among cable originals. Thirty-one of the top fifty cable programs were news-related while NXT also went against the NBA game between New Orleans and Memphis, which finished fifth with 1,055,000 viewers and 0.31 in 18-49 on TNT.

The show assisted by significant gains of 32 percent among females 18-49 and a 56 percent increase among females 35-49, per Brandon Thurston.

There were declines of four percent among males 18-49 and five percent in the 18-34 demo.

In Canada, the show averaged approximately 81,000 on Sportsnet 360, which was up from 66,000 last week. It was their highest mark in Canada since last month’s Vengeance Day special that did the same figure.

NXT Roadblock was highlighted by Dolph Ziggler becoming the NXT champion in a triple threat match with Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa. The show also featured the semi-finals matches of the women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and the Last Man Standing match between Grayson Waller and L.A. Knight.
