NXT 2.0 returned to its live format on Tuesday, although sustained a major decline from the week prior and hit its second-lowest demo figure of 2022.

The June 28th edition of the show averaged 570,000 and approximately 143,000 (0.11) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

NXT 2.0 finished #42 among cable originals, which was dominated again by cable news coverage focusing on the January 6th hearings. News programming occupied 13 of the top 20 cable programs on Tuesday.

NXT 2.0 was coming off its highest 19-49 viewership of the year last week when the taped version averaged 637,000 and 235,000 in 18-49.

This week saw overall viewership decline by 10.5 percent and the key demo dropped by 39 percent.

In the 18-49 demo, females dropped by 51 percent and males fell by 32 percent. The 18-34 demo also fell by 50 percent while adults 35-49 suffered a loss of 34.5 percent.

One interesting demo was 12-34 where males and females were equal last week. This week males in the category dropped by 69 percent while women 12-34 were even with last week’s average.

In adults 50+, the demo experienced an increase of three percent from last week.

NXT 2.0 averaged approximately 37,000 viewers in Canada and 17,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. Overall viewership fell from 43,000 last week.

This week’s episode was headlined by a face-to-face segment between NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Cameron Grimes prior to their title match next week on the Great American Bash special.
