NXT’s last WarGames event was on December 6th of 2020 and that show was headlined by The Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly) defeating Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch) inside of WarGames.

Following up on Brandon Thurston’s initial report, it’s not only on this Sunday date, but it has also dropped the Takeover name. Because NXT 2.0 isn’t in the position to take over anything.

What on the show has necessitated a “WarGames” match? The show is ice cold. Randomly deciding to do a match like this won’t do much

Yep, there is nothing set up to be in a WarGames Match. At the very least, we could see Toxic Attraction team up with Dakota Kai against a team led by Raquel Gonzalez, but I don’t see anything for the men, and a battle of generations doesn’t fly with me because we have two generations teaming up (as of now) with Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner.
