Breezango (Fandango & Tyler Breeze) competed against Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) on tonightβs edition of NXT. As the match went on, it was announced that beginning in two weeks on the January 13th episode of NXT on USA Network, the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is returning.

The current NXT Tag Team Champions are Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan who won the titles from Breezango on an October episode of NXT. In January of 2020, NXT presented the Dusty Classic which featured the duos of Alex Shelley and KUSHIDA, Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews, Grizzled Young Veterans and the winners and eventual NXT Tag Team Champions Riddle and Pete Dunne.
