This coming Sunday, the NXT TakeOver 31 event is streaming live on the WWE Network and recently added to the show lineup was an NXT Cruiserweight Championship match. The champion Santos Escobar will defend his title against Isaiah “Swerve” Scott.

Scott and Escobar have been at odds on NXT TV over the past month-and-a-half and have traded wins back and forth. Escobar defeated Scott in a Cruiserweight Title match on the 8/26 edition of NXT and one week later, Scott pinned Escobar in a six-man tag team match.
Here’s the updated lineup for TakeOver 31:
- NXT Championship: Finn Balor (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly
- NXT Women’s Championship: Io Shirai (c) vs. Candice LeRae
- NXT North American Championship: Damian Priest (c) vs. Johnny Gargano
- KUSHIDA vs. Velveteen Dream
- NXT Cruiserweight Championship: Santos Escobar (c) vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
