In its fourth week unopposed on Tuesday nights, NXT finishes 21st for the night with a drop in its key demographic to a six-week low.
The May 4th edition of NXT averaged 761,000 viewers, which was up 2.2 percent from last week but the 18-49 demo figure dropped to 0.18, the show’s lowest since March 24th when it was airing on Wednesdays against AEW Dynamite.
The show included a Street Fight for the NXT Women’s tag team championship, a Falls Count Anywhere Match, and the return of Finn Balor.
After four episodes on Tuesday, NXT has averaged 788,000 viewers and 0.21 in the 18-49 demographic. Overall, the show is up from Wednesday where the four episodes in March averaged 662,000 and 0.17 between March 3 and March 31, 2021.
This week’s ratings saw the 18-34 number fall to 0.08, which was also its lowest since moving to Tuesdays. However, the 50+ audience increased by 14 percent to 0.41, which was a rebound after a drop last week.
After four consecutive weeks at 0.19, the females 18-49 audience dropped 26 percent this week to 0.14.
In Canada, NXT averaged 45,000 viewers on Sportsnet 360 with 21,000 in the 25-54 demographic.
