Kicking off NXT In Your House was a six-man tag match between Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro) and Tony D’Angelo, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo and Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan. The stipulation was that the losing team would have to join the winning team’s group and coming out on top was team Tony D’Angelo.

The conclusion of the match saw ‘Stacks’ get knocked out with a crowbar by Joaquin Wilde. Joaquin was then knocked out by Tony D’Angelo with a pair of brass knuckles. ‘Stacks’, who was out on his feet, was pushed onto Wilde for the three count.

It was announced that the next TV special for the NXT 2.0 brand is Great American Bash on July 5th.

In the main event of In Your House, Bron Breakker defeated Joe Gacy to retain the NXT Championship. If Breakker got disqualified, he would’ve lost the belt. There was a point during the match when Breakker grabbed a chair from the referee, but proceeded to hit one of Gacy’s druids with it and followed up with his finisher to secure the win. Breakker wore the singlet his uncle Scott Steiner wore at WrestleMania 9.

The upNXT crew is currently live with a review of In Your House. After the live show is over, their review will be uploaded to the POST Wrestling site.

I wasn’t high on the two women’s matches, but I liked the rest of the card. The main event exceeded my expectations with a lot of good moments and an invested crowd. Same with the opener. I thought the tag title match was very successful.
