The finals are set for the 2022 NXT women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo will meet Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray. Kai and Choo advanced by beating Raquel Gonzalez and Cora Jade. During their match, NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne hit Gonzalez over her leg with a wooden object.
Io and Kay Lee Ray picked up a win over Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro.
The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) were scheduled to challenge Imperium (Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel) for the NXT Tag Team Titles, but they were ambushed in the parking lot. They were not able to compete so MSK (Wes Lee & Nash Carter) filled in for them. Julius and Brutus appeared during the tag match and cleared both teams out of the ring.
One of the individuals portraying the role of a security guard that was checking on The Creed Brothers was independent wrestler Alexander James.
Carmelo Hayes’ North American Title will be defended in a Ladder match at NXT Stand & Deliver. Qualifying matches for that bout begin next week with Santos Escobar versus Cameron Grimes.
A Last Man Standing match took place at NXT Roadblock between L.A. Knight and Grayson Waller. Waller used an object to knock Knight out and then followed up with a splash off the top rope through a table. Waller used his bodyguard Sanga to get to his feet before the ten count.
Announced for the March 15th NXT 2.0 is Indi Hartwell versus Persia Pirotta along with Tiffany Stratton versus Sarray. Sarray caused Stratton to lose to Fallon Henley (Tesha Price) on 3/8.
