NXT held a set of tapings on Wednesday at the Capitol Wrestling Center for the July 27th and August 3rd episodes that will air in the U.S. on Syfy.

The company also taped matches for future editions of 205 Live.

The following results were reported by Jay Reddick of the Orlando Sentinel, who was in attendance at the Performance Center:

205 Live – July 30th:
*Drake Maverick over Asher Hale
*Leon Ruff over Grayson Waller

NXT – July 27th:
*Pete Dunne & Oney Lorcan over Timothy Thatcher & Tommaso Ciampa – after the match, Ridge Holland returned from injury and assisted Dunne and Lorcan
*Samoa Joe came out to resign from his position as part of management and requested an NXT title match against Karrion Kross for TakeOver, which was granted by William Regal for August 22nd
*Carmelo Hayes over Josh Briggs in the Breakout Tournament
*They did an angle where Dakota Kai turned on Raquel Gonzalez and attacked her before holding her belt
*Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter over Franky Monet & Jessi Kamea
*Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel over Hit Row (didn’t state which members)
*Adam Cole over Bronson Reed

205 Live – August 6th:
*KUSHIDA over Ari Sterling

NXT – August 3rd:
*Ridge Holland over Ikemen Jiro
*Roderick Strong over Bobby Fish
*Grizzled Young Vets over LA Knight & Cameron Grimes after Knight walks out on his partner. After the match, Ted DiBiase returned and left with Grimes
*Trey Baxter over Joe Gacy in the Breakout Tournament
*Top Dolla & Ashante over Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza by DQ after Santos Escobar attacked with a chair
*Johnny Gargano over Dexter Lumis in a “Love Her or Lose Her” match where Lumis would have been forced to stop pursuing Hartwell if he lost. After the win, Lumis and Hartwell made out in the ring anyway.
*There was a closing segment with Karrion Kross and Samoa Joe ending with Joe choking out security

I read these results elsewhere. It would have been Ashante Adonis & Top Dolla losing to Imperium.

No zombies as Beth Phoenix hoped for, but we do have someone coming back from the dead (Holland) and someone else turning.

They apparently had to retape a segment involving Joe and Kross because Kross was utterly showered with chants for Jeff Hardy.
