NXT’s Great American Bash didn’t see much of a boost for the themed special on Tuesday night.

The July 5th special on USA Network averaged 593,000 viewers and approximately 157,000 (0.12) in the 18-49 demographic, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

The show saw a four percent gain in overall viewership and increased 10 percent in the 18-49 demographic from the prior week.

The 18-49 figure was nothing extraordinary, equaling the recent audiences in the demo from May 31st and the taped show that aired on June 7th and below the taped show that aired on June 14th.

Females 18-49 grew 33 percent this week with an average of 52,000 in the demo, which is reflective of an exceptionally low number in that demo last week. The same female demo averaged 69,000 on June 7th and 76,000 on June 21st, according to data from Brandon Thurston.

Males 18-49 dropped 12 percent from last week while adults 18-34 and the 12-34 demos were equal to last week.

NXT 2.0 ranked #27 among cable originals on Tuesday

The show did spark an increase in Canada with an average of 57,000 viewers and 21,500 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. It was NXT’s highest overall viewership in the country since April 19th.

Last year’s Great American Bash special aired on July 6, 2021, and averaged 654,000 viewers and 232,000 in 18-49 and aired against Game 1 of the NBA Finals featuring a main event between Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly.
