I guess the issues is does anyone want to see this? What is the point of putting on a match that’s got no interest? No fans will order because of this. Also there is a risk that he might actually get booed although I doubt that because the AEW audience cheers everything they should.
If you’re going to put on a match that serves no purpose in terms of attracting fans you may as well use it to elevate somebody I guess instead of this.
For me at least if the match is just to fill time it is a match I want to skip. Yeah the factory is a loser stable. So if someone is going to come out and kill them in 2 mins I’d much rather it be say a Lance Archer or Brian Cage. Especially on a PPV. Paul Wight winning does nothing for me. If someone comes out for a save and gets a rub cool. I like stories not matches for no reason. Especially with a legend involved. With current talent at least someone who matters gets the win.
