Originally published at Piper Niven debuts on WWE Raw, aligns with Eva Marie
Prior to tonight’s WWE Raw, it was announced that Naomi would be taking on Eva Marie in Marie’s return match. Eva has not wrestled in a sanctioned match for WWE since 2016. As Marie came into camera’s view, she was accompanied to the ring by NXT UK talent Piper Niven.
Niven got into the ring and took on on the former two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi. After several minutes, Piper defeated Naomi and went on to celebrate with Eva Marie on the outside.

Marie did not get involved in the match and just cheered from the outside. Niven was last in action on a March episode of NXT UK. She was paired with Jack Starz and they were having mixed tag matches with Jinny and Joseph Connors.
Vignettes for Eva Marie’s return to WWE began airing in early March and the vignettes have aired weekly since. After Piper got the win, Eva announced on the microphone that she won the match.
