John Pollock and Wai Ting debut Pollock & Ting: TALK, a new podcast where they… talk.
The Maple Leafs always screwing up is exactly how I feel about the USA men’s national soccer team. A great crop of guys in a generation but in one scoop, it all falls apart. We go to the next round and we get obliterated.
A bunch of great options, within a driving distance.
I wish I had one of these in Ottawa (although we do have one independent one, at a drive). The Premier chain is great. A nice throwback in its presentation, but also a great value (always a double bill).
Fun stuff, guys! I think the closest things to a celeb mascot the Jays have is Getty Lee. Much less au courant than Drake, and less heartwarming than Nav Bhatia. Then again, we do have Home Plate/Scarf Lady…
I think for many people, there is a difference between the theatre being open, and being comfortable to attend a theatre again. That’s why I’m a fan of the drive-in, in the summer. Got me through last summer, for sure.
I worked/managed theatres for 9 years and left 1 month before the pandemic. My friends that still work there have been told they’re tentatively targeting July 23rd here in Toronto. That could change but that’s the target as of today
Definitely walked into a grocery store without a mask by mistake before here in the UK…but no one told me to put one on and only realised after I had left. And I still felt bad.
Cool show. Definitely answered a number of (perhaps uncomfortable) questions I have had for a while, but never asked because it’s none of our business really.
One thought… This sort of content would lend itself perfectly to a live format at an annual meet-up of sorts with fans/patrons in attendance.
