John Pollock has a pair of interviews heading into this weekend’s Bellator 231 & 232 cards from Uncasville, Connecticut.

Up first, Big” John McCarthy discusses his role as a Bellator broadcaster, the typical duties the day of the event, the rematch between Rory MacDonald and Robbie Lawler, the moments he has shared with MacDonald inside the cage, the recent weight-cutting rule passed by the California State Athletic Commission, and an update on his health following neck surgery two years ago.

Then, MMA analyst Robin Black discusses the MacDonald vs. Lima rematch, how he dissects fights and how it’s changed over the years, the unique approach he takes versus how the fight is called in real-time and utilizing Instagram to find an audience.

Bellator 231 airs Friday night at 9 pm ET on DAZN & Paramount Network followed by Bellator 232 on Saturday night at 10 pm on DAZN.
