John Pollock and Wai Ting review the twelfth Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Ant-Man (2015).

We discuss the tumultuous origins of the film that led Peyton Reed to replace Edgar Wright as director following nearly a decade of pre-production, the performance of Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, how it performed at the box office compared to other films in the MCU, and more.

Synopsis from Google:

Forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.

Wai’s knowledge came through big time with this review, I learned a lot from the original director to Marvel deciding not to touch Domestic Violence with the original comics, That’s Good Shit Pal.

Great review guys. It would be very interesting to see what Edgar Wright’s version of Ant Man would be like.
