2023 season is complete.
19 wins, 21 podiums, 1003 laps led, 575 points, 10 consecutive race wins, highest win percentage and the only driver to complete every racing lap. Max Verstappen, what a dominant season.
Verstappen 2023 is one of the greatest sporting things I’ve ever witnessed. It was mind-blowing from winter practice. Truly one of the greatest performances in sporting history.
The other thing about this season that people are missing - especially those who need a Championship battle to be interested - is how narrow the pace spread is becoming across the field and how good the reliability is. It’s leading to better racing underneath the most dominant driver and car combination in history.
However, some things never change: Haas remains unabashedly Haas and awful at the F1’s. One day, guys. One day. LOL.
