This week at POST Wrestling, we will have shows released daily in the lead-up to AEW’s All Out event, including our review of WCW Halloween Havoc 1991.
After back-to-back pay-per-views from WWE, AEW will return this Saturday night for their first pay-per-view since May with the All-Out card from Daily’s Place. We will have our usual coverage that night with Andrew Thompson filing stories on the site, my coverage of the show as it is happening, followed by our AEW All Out POST Show. Wai Ting and I will be LIVE immediately after the show for Double Double, Iced Capp & Espresso members of the POST Wrestling Café.
Rewind-A-Wai #69 is coming out Tuesday night and this week’s selection was WCW Halloween Havoc 1991 chosen by Espresso Executive Producer Justin Killian. This card features the infamous Chamber of Horrors disaster among the 11 matches presented along with Lex Luger vs. Ron Simmons in a two-out-of-three falls match for the WCW title and the appearances by Oz, Van Hammer, The Creatures, and BILL KAZMAIER! It’s WCW in 1991 and we will dive into this time period for a proper contextual look at this show.
Due to NXT airing on Tuesday night, Braden Herrington & Davie Portman won’t have an edition of upNXT until Wednesday afternoon as they review the show from the night prior.
Wai Ting and John Pollock will be back Wednesday night with Rewind-A-Dynamite and will also preview the All Out card next weekend.
On Thursday’s edition of the British Wrestling Experience, Martin Bushby and Benno welcome Shane from WrestleWipe.com to review Rev Pro’s recent Epic Encounters shows, the return of NXT UK in September, Benjamin Carter, and more.
Wai & I will be LIVE on Friday night at 10:15 pm Eastern with Rewind-A-SmackDown featuring your phone calls on any subjects.
Saturday night is our big AEW All Out POST Show immediately after it ends and will be LIVE for Double Double, Iced Capp, and Espresso members of the POST Wrestling Café.
Finally, WH Park continues The Long & Winding Royal Road on Sunday with guest JP Houlihan of the Grappl Podcast. On this month’s show, they will go back to June 8, 1990, to review a seminal match between Jumbo Tsuruta and Mitsuharu Misawa.
