Our busiest period of the year begins this week with our coverage of the G1 Climax with 19 shows from September 19th until October 18th.
Wai Ting and I will be doing G1 Climax podcasts after each show for all members of the POST Wrestling Café. For $6 per month, you will get all our bonus shows this month including the G1 Climax podcasts to keep up with the tournament. Joining the Café also gives you access to Rewind-A-Wai, Rewind-A-SmackDown LIVE, and the entire Café archives going back to 2017.
It all begins this weekend with podcasts covering Saturday’s A Block show from Osaka and Sunday’s B Block opener. We will also have reports on the site for each G1 card courtesy of Mike Murray and Mark Buckeldee.

The week begins with Rewind-A-Raw tonight as we go through the week coming up, discuss the latest news, and review Raw “In Your Face”.
On Tuesday, Andrew Thompson will have an interview with Marek Brave from the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy.
Beyond the G1 coverage, this Tuesday we will have Rewind-A-Wai #70 covering the Great American Bash from July 1990 headlined by Ric Flair vs. Sting for the NWA heavyweight title. This show was selected by our Espresso Executive Producer Cody Staples and we will look at the state of WCW in the summer of 1990 and the anointing of Sting that was delayed from earlier that year due to his knee injury. This show is also available for members of the POST Wrestling Café.
On Wednesday, AEW and NXT are back running head-to-head and that means we have Rewind-A-Dynamite and upNXT with Braden Herrington & Davie Portman dropping the same night.
On Friday, it’s Rewind-A-SmackDown LIVE with John & Wai at 10:15 pm Eastern for all Patrons. Last week, we experimented with Zoom and had a great time, so stay tuned for the video information this weekend as we run through SmackDown and take your calls as usual.
The upNXT crew is releasing their Best Match Ever podcast focusing on Stan Hansen to commemorate one year since the launch of their Patreon. On this show, I joined Braden & Davie as we went through the career of Hansen and some of his most notable matches.
Then, it’s the launch of the G1 Climax and this is where you want to be for the next month as we will have extensive analysis of each match on every card with a podcast dedicated to all 19 events.
For Saturday’s G1 show, we will be posting the podcast for all Café members earlier in the day and then will make the first day’s podcast free for everyone on Saturday night. Sunday’s G1 podcast will be exclusively for members of the POST Wrestling Café.
The main event of the week comes Saturday with Brandon from New Jersey & Kris from L.A. joining Nate Milton for this month’s edition of The Rocky Maivia Picture Show as they review Empire State.
