Just caught up with Rey and Edge docs, both pretty cool in their own rights.
Edge one had a lot of detail about his early days on the indies which was fun to see. Totally cut out the Lita/Matt stuff though which seems kinda weird seeing how big a part of his career that was.
Was not expecting much from Rey doc, but was really pleasantly surprised - Konan had some awesome insights and lines (on Rey sneaking into bars with his mask when he was younger) “so I said to the barman hey he’s a little person and he gets very ornery about his height so don’t say anything to him about it”. A lot of stuff I hadn’t heard him talk about too like being in his words “a dick to my wife when she was pregnant” and a pill addiction he went to rehab for in 2008. Very honest and open where it didn’t really need to be. Fair play to those involved,
By the way, speaking of a lot of revelations, did you guys see the Bellas doc from a few weeks ago? I used to keep up with early seasons of total divas, but wow there’s a lot there about their early lives I had no clue about. Interesting takes on reality Tv and impact that had on their lives too.
Really enjoying this run of A n Es, hope they keep up the quality going forward.
Oh, and welcome back Wai! Hope you enjoyed your time off
