The hosts of Stand & Deliver speak about the upcoming event.

With NXT Stand & Deliver being one week away, it was announced that there are going to be hosts for the show and those hosts are former NXT U.K. and NXT Tag Team Champions, Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson).

Their first duty as hosts was to moderate the contract signing between Carmelo Hayes and NXT Champion Bron Breakker which resulted in Pretty Deadly being put through a table.

The duo were interviewed by Jim Varsallone and they spoke about their excitement to host Stand & Deliver and made references to The Miz, who is hosting WrestleMania 39

Prince: It’s an honor!

Wilson: Do you know what I was going to say it is? Awesome!!

Prince: Oh, look at that. You could argue, the three biggest, sort of, superstars maybe?

Wilson: The most must-see.

Prince: The three most must-see superstars in WWE hosting WrestleMania. It’s kind of almost written in the stars. It just makes sense, it just makes sense. But yeah, it is an honor, I’m very excited as you know and everyone who’s gonna be watching this knows that Stand & Deliver is our WrestleMania. It’s the biggest show of the year. It’s where every story and all the excitement leads to this one day so to be the one team almost leading the charge, there’s a little bit of power there. There’s a little bit of power there which is nice. To be those two people, hey, it’s a good day.

Wilson: It’s an honor.

From December until this past February, Pretty Deadly had been engaged in an on-screen program with The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston).

Both Prince and Wilson expressed that New Day is a team they looked up to and it was an honor to work with them but New Day came to NXT and ruined their lives. Wilson added that Kingston getting injured was karma for what him and Woods put them through.

Wilson: Yes, technically, it’s an honor to be in the ring with them (New Day). Technically, we grew up watching them. Technically, they are inspirations and role models in the tag team division.

Prince: Technically, we’ve looked up to them for years and think they’re brilliant.

Wilson: However, The New Day came to NXT when they shouldn’t have, uninvited and ruined our lives.

Prince: Yeah, that’s exactly what happened. We had our babies didn’t we? We had our babies, we carried them for months and months and then they just took it away, took it away. Took our joy away, took our purpose.

Wilson: It’s been a downward, downhill spiral since.

Prince: It’s been a rough journey and you know what hurts most? Is they know what they’ve done. There’s no remorse. There’s no regret, there’s no guilt. They’re just off living their merry lives now. Oh, let’s go down, ruin Pretty Deadly’s lives and carry on as normal.

Wilson: And I’ll say this, Kofi (Kingston), maybe recently, I don’t wanna say it but it’s karma.

Prince: Maybe!
