Absolutely loved the NXT U.K. Prime Target. I don’t watch their weekly tv and after watching this was totally excited to watch the match.
If they did one of these for an NXT or Raw feud on USA I’d venture a guess it retains viewers for a half hour window better than current half hour blocks. Let the matches happen for the live crowd but air a video package like this and viewers who know the characters aren’t turning it off.
I hope NXT uses some of this kind of story telling and segments on their weekly tv to keep feuds strong and get characters over to a wider audience.
