Big E made sure to give Raine Cruz her props.

Going into the 2021 SummerSlam event, WWE hosted a contest over the TikTok app and the winner of the contest would get to be the ring announcer for a match at the event. The winner was Raine Cruz and she was the special guest ring announcer for Baron Corbin versus then-Mr. Money In The Bank Big E.

Following Big E’s WWE Title win, the support from those across the industry came flowing in. Raine Cruz detailed her interaction with Big E at SummerSlam during her appearance on ‘Coffee Talk with Friends’. Raine said when Big E got in the ring, he gave her-her props and then after the Kickoff show, Big E made sure to reiterate to Raine that she did a good job.

First of all, I love Big E. Honestly at SummerSlam, he was so nice, super supportive, super kind to me. Yes .

As far as future appearances for WWE, she was told that it was a one time thing but anything could happen in the future. Raine does ring announce at independent shows.

So basically I was told that, you know, the contest was just a one time thing. ‘You know, hey, you never know what’s gonna happen next’ type of deal and I was just like, ‘Okay, cool. Thank you so much’ so, to me, I was gonna keep doing my thing. Like I said, SummerSlam, I mentioned earlier, SummerSlam was my probably sixth or seventh event to ring announce but in total, SummerSlam was my 11th event. Yeah, like I literally just started in the indies back in February. So, to me I have, you know, I just wanna keep getting my reps and that’s what I’ve been doing since SummerSlam. Just doing more shows because to me, there’s nothing better than being inside that ring and feeling the energy from the crowd and just doing your thing!

This past Monday on Raw, Big E along with Universal Champion Roman Reigns pulled double duty. Both talents were in the show opener and main event.
