About 3 years ago, there was talk about a Chris Benoit movie being released. The working title of the movie was Crossface.
The last piece of news I can find on it was Lexi Alander being brought on as the director. (Link from September 2016: https://variety.com/2016/film/news/chris-benoit-movie-crossface-lexi-alexander-1201855548/) There hasn’t been a word on the status of the development since from what I can find online.
Does anyone know the current status of the project? Did WWE silently pump the brakes on it or is it Hollywood dragging their feet with this one?
