John PollockandWai Tingreview the first night of the Superstar Shakeup with WWE Raw from Montreal, Quebec. The show featured a six-man tag main event with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns teaming with the incoming AJ Styles against Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley & Baron Corbin, Lacey Evans met Natalya to determine the next Raw women’s title challenger, the Viking Experience made their Raw debut, plus numerous SmackDown performers moving over and a review of the whole show.
Here’s the thing about The Viking Experience. WWE’s track record of new tag team names are so insultingly bad that this fits perfectly alongside such legendary memorable teams like The Boss and Hug Connection, The Empress and The Glow, and Breezango.
When Undisputed Era gets called you better believe they’ll have a silly name change to go along with it. My money is on “Fresh Pavement to a Smoother Tomorrow” featuring Wesley, Cyrus, Roland and Finkle.
I thought the Bray Wyatt doll was supposed to look like sister Abigail. The black lace vail looks the same as when Bray “transformed” into Abigail in that awful promo.
The candy story is crazy and must be a new Trump-era policy. I have gotten several boxes of Coffee Crisps and All-Dressed chips from friends up north and I believe all had honest customs forms.
Kinder eggs have been banned for some time in the US so I don’t think this ridiculous rule can be attributed to the Trump administration. I may be wrong though.
Edit: Now I have a craving for a Kinder Bueno. Haven’t had one in some time. Tastiest chocolate bar of all time?
Kinder Surprise eggs are banned due to choking hazards, totally silly and totally different circumstances.
For fun I did a quick search of US customs laws and there is no regulation about sending candy into the US, the only banned items seems to be meats. Wai was lied to!
It’s a restriction set by the shipping platform I use to send international packages in Canada. My guess they is they’d rather not deal with the potential slow-down at customs just banned all food/beverages instead.
