John Pollock and Wai Ting review Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown featuring Roman Reigns vs. Dolph Ziggler in the main event heading into Extreme Rules.

This week’s episode featured a big start to the show involving Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens that led to a new main event and the launch of Owens into a babyface position. Plus, a contract signing between Bayley and Nikki Cross, a preview of Sunday’s three-way match with Daniel Bryan, Xavier Woods & Otis, someone finally knocked on Aleister Black’s door, and in 2019 the show ended with a McMahon taking a Stone Cold Stunner.

Anyone else feel a little underwhelmed with what has been announced for Starrcast III so far? There are just 14 people listed on the meet and greet section. Yes, it’s still over a month and a half out, but there are barely any panels announced as well. Maybe Conrad is holding off announcing anything until the last minute so WWE doesn’t try to counter anything.

It feels underwhelming, because it’s being overdone. There was no need for another Starrcast so soon.
