I’m in the US and was just able to pull it up fine.
Sorry, I should have specified. I’m in Canada.
Not sure how I feel about the content they give during commercial breaks in international markets. Being able to watch a match during a break is nice. But a lot of the other stuff just kinda felt like house show promos and content that isn’t interesting?
Best moments were Hogan getting booed and Travis Scott smoking a J.
Have to agree with @TheBenjamin here.
Canadian here. I see the replay available if you look at the Raw tab used for live events. It hasn’t been added to the “Raw Vault” yet though - any chance you were looking there? Sorta confusing that one show has been siloed into two different “shows” on Netflix…
EDIT: Here’s the link I’m looking at with the replay Watch Raw | Netflix Official Site
Did you click on the link though? It says it’s 183 mins but just plays for a second. Its just on the browser. I’ll watch on my phone.
It seems to just be Chrome. I’m watching on Edge fine. Weird
@Warren_Heaney I was able to bring it up just now. I am in Canada and watching on PS4. Also works on my phone. Chrome not working is weird.
@jallonar4040 So, game time decision turned into turning it on while working last night. the first Raw I’ve seen the majority of in a long, long time.
The intuit Dome looks incredible. Would go to a Clippers game. LOL.
As a lapsed fan of a few years I decided to tune in and jot down some of my thoughts. Here they are:
Raw Netflix Debut (Jan 6th - because of course)
Of course Triple H had to voice the opening monologue… and appear in the ring
Fortnite advertising in the ring? What a funny image with Triple H standing over it
I don’t think this is for me.
The stadium looks great though. Good for the Clippers.
Now it’s The Rock.
Are they sticking with this set design?
Usual circlejerking over numbers
This feels more like the HOF ceremony than Raw so far. Why is The Rock shouting out people in a private box?
When are we getting to the racism? I heard Hogan is back
That’s a nice chain. I wonder if he’s involved in Shannon Sharpe’s jewelry company?
I forgot about Pat McAfee. He’s very annoying, so is Cole
Is Solo Sikoa considered “over”? The fans didn’t seem to care much during his entrance.
I just read that Hogan isn’t just back, he’s literally in business with WWE and his beer company on the mat…
This definitely isn’t for me. I’ve 100% hit the point of “not the target audience”
The actual Royal Rumble is going to be in Saudi Arabia? Well that’s that.
Now John Cena. Is the ‘Netflix era’ a specific fuck you to me personally?
Why is he still wearing that exact same lame as fuck outfit? It’s like John Cena is playing John Cena. How is he still so one dimensional? Is he finally ever going to expand his character?
Oh God, is he coming back for another full time run?
Do they still point to the sign?
They’ll make him win it, won’t they? Maybe he can announce the death of a terrorist at the end.
Logan Paul next. He should probably be in jail
Topanga? Now we’re talking
Do people still like McAfee on commentary?
They’re doing on-screen W/L stats. Are they publishing that stuff themselves online nowadays too?
I prefer the TV production now at least. Much better angles, lighting, less cuts etc. than i remember. The ring mat sponsors look bad but overall at least the show doesn’t have that glossy over-production i felt before
Of course he’s back with the American Badass gimmick
They’re using The Rock’s instagram feed as part of Raw……so pathetic
Here comes the racism. Holy shit, he’s getting booed!
This is embarrassing. Absolutely pathetic. A new fucking low.
There is no way I could watch this live. Watched it on Netflix today and I believe it was 2 hours and 19min.
The show was clearly designed for the lapsed fan, that person who used to watch wrestling and saw the insane amount of advertising on Netflix and wanted to check it out. I felt the show delivered for that. Personally I enjoyed it, but felt it was too long. I don’t like wrestling TV that goes over 90min (based on a two hour tv show with roughly 30min of commercials I fast forward through).
Surprised they used Hogan. With his vocal political ties to MAGA and this being in California, I don’t understand how anyone didn’t see this coming. With that said, I always find the Hogan outrage interesting. What he said in that video was gross, and I get people being upset over it, though what I find interesting is how other performers have done so much worse and been welcomed with open arms on WWE and AEW TV. I’ve always thought that the vitriol towards Hogan by many (not all) stemmed from the way he handled and conducted himself behind the scenes, not the leaked video. I think it’s a situation where people hated him, and then once that video came out that became their ammo. Not saying people are lying, but I don’t think that was the root of their anger. To be clear, not in anyway justifying what he said, Im simply questioning why some are largely welcomed back who have done worse.
