A former WWE vice president has joined AEW and will begin imminently.

Mike Johnson at PWinsider.com reported on Monday that Michael Mansury, the former VP of Global Television Production for WWE, has joined AEW and will begin this Wednesday at the tapings in Garland, Texas.

The site reports that Mansury’s title at AEW will be Senior Vice President & Co-Executive Producer.

Mansury worked at WWE for twelve years beginning in 2009 where he began as a production assistant and rose in the ranks to become a VP.

He left the company in 2020 and became an executive producer at Pat McAfee’s company while also launching a wrestling podcast for a brief time with former WCW broadcaster Mark Madden.

In 2021, Mansury became ONE Championship’s Senior Vice President & Executive Producer and wrapped up that role last November.

Mansury has confirmed the new role on social media.
