The first episode of NXT: Level Up to be taped tonight, per report.

The NXT 2.0 brand is presenting their Vengeance Day show tonight at 8 PM EST. According to PWInsider, prior to the event, the first episode of ‘NXT: Level Up’ is going to be taped in place of 205 Live. The site confirmed that 205 Live is no longer a show under WWE’s content umbrella.

NXT: Level Up’s first episode is slated to be an hour long. There has yet to be an official announcement from WWE about the change.

205 Live was introduced in 2016 coming out of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic tournament. The company brought back the Cruiserweight Title and this past January, that belt was unified with the North American Championship which is currently in the possession of Carmelo Hayes.

Hayes is going to be defending the title tonight at NXT Vengeance Day against Cameron Grimes.

Given how 205 Live began featuring more non-cruiserweights and women, and how the Cruiserweight Title is retired, this rebrand is past due.
