Our review begins with Bruceâs thoughts on AEW Dark. On Dynamite, The Young Bucks give unknowns Top Flight their national TV debut, Inner Circle slays Las Vegas, Jon Moxley nonchalantly delivers a major announcement before falling victim to a mysterious attack, PAC has his first AEW match in 8 months, Serena Deeb defends the NWA title against Thunder Rosa, and Team Taz receives its latest recruit.
Canât believe how much the forum loved this show. I thought it was pretty bad. Really sick of Orange Cassidyâs same routine every single week, and the Inner Circle stuff was awful. I can appreciate musical routine they did a couple weeks ago for at least trying something different, but awful WWE-style comedy is something Iâm already far too familiar with.
And Miro on commentary was equally terrible. Felt like JR and Tony had to keep reminding him to say something or else we might completely forget that he was there.
Yeah I wasnât that high on this show. This was the first big miss for MJF/Jericho. It just wasnât funny and didnât build to anything interesting. And the whole punchline was Hornswoggle? The whole thing felt like an Impact segment.
I also donât think we need another mystery attacker angle. Didnât they just do that with Matt Hardy? The whole contract signing was awkward.
The wrestling was fine - really liked the bucks match and the womenâs title match but overall not a great show at all
