I laughed at the idea of having the thunderdome mp3 of “We want thumbtacks”. Especially during a Lana vs Dana Brooke match.

Great review guys.
It’s crazy to think this was 16 years ago, as it feels so recent… but it’s also enough time that it’s a really fresh feeling revisit.

Great listen.

Great show recapping this event and the company overall at the time.

I was watching TNA fairly regularly around this time, especially the second half of '05 seeing how Samoa Joe had come in and a few other ROH names followed (but didn’t stick around). So ROH was making me watch more TNA. I even sought out and bought this and one other DVD, so I caught Joe’s first several PPV matches here.

Even though the 2009 3-way was billed as the sequel, these three met up soon after Unbreakable. I think it was February 2006 that these three had another match with Joe retaining the X Division Title (after winning it in December), then they had an Ultimate X Match in March with Daniels winning the title, so all three guys won one match each between them.

The 40-Year-Old Virgin would not be the 55-Year-Old Virgin, because he lost his virginity at the end of the movie.

The ROH vs. CZW war was in 2006. ROH in 2005 had the Summer of Punk and Joe vs. Kobashi that October. CZW mainly just had some hot matches with indy stars of the time.
