Just started listening. The news stories from the same time as the show being covered is always fascinating to me.

The second ROH show that weekend (headlined by Richards vs. Elgin) also had terrible streaming issues, with GoFightLive’s stream going down
for one or two matches matches. I remember Jim Cornette relaying a story about this, saying he and Delirious just walked outside the building and screamed. Also on that ROH card was Fire Ant (Orange Cassidy’s masked alter ego from Chikara).

It was not the Marine role that CM Punk lost to Randy Orton (according to Punk’s story on Art of Wrestling), but the starring role in the 12 Rounds sequel (which Orton still appeared in).

Fantastic rundown of the card, and a fun Trivia Gauntlet with Tyler.
