Ric Flair victorious in his last match.

The headlining bout of Ric Flair’s ‘Last Match’ event saw Flair team up with Andrade El Idolo to take on Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett. Flair got the victory for his team after locking in the Figure Four Leg Lock. Both Flair and Jarrett’s shoulders were on the mat but the referee was on Jarrett’s side of the maneuver and ruled him the loser.

Flair shed blood during the match and his daughter Megan, Conrad Thompson and former significant other Wendy Barlow were all involved.

Seated in the front row was Bret Hart, Mick Foley, The Undertaker and Michelle McCool who embraced Flair after the bout.

The 73-year-old Flair had been training with Jay Lethal on the lead up to the match. After the show went off the air, Flair embraced Lethal.

Did anyone in the Postiverse go to this? Completely separate from SummerSlam, I flew into Nashville for work yesterday and am staying a mile from the auditorium. Conrad hyped the undercard but it looked very blah when I scoped tickets.

I live in Central MA and also hit Dynamite on Wednesday and was still a little all set on large crowds. My life story out of the way – did I miss out?? Will I regret not being able to say I WAS THERE?

I saw the event as someone at work is a big Ric Flair fan and had it on their phone.

It was interesting. Flair is moving very slow and looks drunk. However, halfway through the match you’re just trying to see if he’s going to die or not. From that point of you it’s got a lot of drama because you don’t know every time if he goes down whether he stopped breathing or he still alive.

So from that point of you it is pretty gripping
