Fuji’s condition is non-life threatening.
The 2AW promotion in Japan shared on their official website that 32-year veteran Ricky Fuji, real name Masanori Morimura, had a fall on September 7th. He was rushed to a hospital where it was determined that he suffered a stroke. Fuji underwent surgery that same day.
He underwent a successful cerebral angiography and his condition is non-life threatening but the left side of Fuji’s body is paralyzed as of this writing.
Fuji’s relatives informed 2AW that he is going to be transferred to a hospital that specializes in rehabilitation and he’ll continue to focus on treatment while undergoing rehabilitation.
