Matches in the ‘Road to the Chase’ tournament airing on Powerrr.
The National Wrestling Alliance is celebrating their 74th anniversary this coming August. A tournament is going to be held on the lead up to the show to determine the challenger to Trevor Murdoch’s NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
The three matches in the tournament are airing on the 7/12 episode of Powerrr and the winners of those matches will compete in a three-way for the title opportunity.
- Road to the Chase Tournament Match: Tim Storm vs. Nick Aldis
- Road to the Chase Tournament Match: Thom Latimer vs. Chris Adonis
- KiLynn King vs. Allysin Kay
- Road to the Chase Tournament Match: ‘Pope’ Elijah Burke vs. Brian Myers

Trevor Murdoch became NWA Worlds Champion for the second time at ‘Alwayz Ready’. He emerged victorious from a four way that involved Nick Aldis, Thom Latimer and Sam Shaw f.k.a. Dexter Lumis.
