Ring of Honor held their first of two shows this weekend and the festivities kicked off at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia. The show saw the return of NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis to Ring of Honor. Aldis appeared after the ROH World Championship match between RUSH and PCO. RUSH was disqualified after delivering “Bull’s Horns” to a substitute referee that briefly filled in for Todd Sinclair who was out on the outside. Sinclair saw RUSH hit the move and called the match off.

Dragon Lee and Kenny King came to the ring to assist RUSH in his beat down of PCO and out came Marty Scurll and Brody King. After Villain Enterprises fought off the opposite faction, they left the ringside area and in came Nick Aldis who was dressed as a security guard and he got a few punches in on PCO. In July of 2019, PWInsider first reported that the National Wrestling Alliance and Ring of Honor parted ways and NWA has since went on to launch their NWA Powerrr series on YouTube. Marty Scurll made an appearance at NWA’s ‘Into The Fire’ pay-per-view on December 14th and confronted Nick Aldis. Also, prior to the partnership ending, PCO and Brody King were NWA World Tag Team Champions.

While on the topic of Villain Enterprises, Marty Scurll, Flip Gordon and Brody King lost the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships to Flamita, Rey Horus and Bandido on the show. Ring of Honor announced earlier today that Bandido signed a new deal with the company. Marty Scurll took the pin in the match.

ROH will be in Concord, North Carolina on January 12th and that show is being headlined by RUSH, Kenny King and Dragon Lee versus Marty Scurll, PCO and Brody King.
