Ring of Honor will make its return to Philadelphia in August with a two-night Glory by Honor series of shows.

ROH will be returning to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on Friday, August 20th, and Saturday, August 21st for Glory by Honor, which will also stream on Honor Club.

Both ROH events have a listed start time of 7 p.m. ET.

The promotion announced that the first night will feature ROH Champion Rush defending the title against Flip Gordon. The second night will feature Rush teaming with Dragon Lee to take on Bandido & Rey Horus.

The second night will coincide with SummerSlam airing on the WWE Network from Las Vegas, Nevada.

ROH will hold their “Best in the World” pay-per-view on Sunday, July 11th, which will be their first show with fans since the pandemic began.

I hope to attend that Friday show!

That Saturday is when a college friend of mine is holding his annual party with friends old and new. I missed it two years ago because I was attending a Bloodsport show and he announced his plans too late, and last year it was all done virtually (and on Halloween), so I wouldn’t want to miss it this year (a very pro-vax crowd too), so I don’t mind missing ROH nor SummerSlam for it.
