Next challenger to the World TV Title.

Joining the lineup for AEW All Out on Sunday, September 3rd is an ROH World Television Championship match. The reigning champion Samoa Joe is coming off of losing to CM Punk in a ‘Real World Championship’ match at All In.

Joe’s next challenger is going to be former ROH World Television Champion Shane Taylor. Taylor won a tournament to determine Joe’s next challenger. He bested the likes of Serpentico, Christopher Daniels and Gravity to earn the opportunity.

Joe versus Taylor is joining the following lineup at All Out:

  • TNT Championship: Luchasaurus (c) (w/ Christian Cage) vs. Darby Allin
  • Miro vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
  • TBS Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Ruby Soho
  • AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. TBD
  • Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita (w/ Don Callis)
  • Bullet Club Gold (Jay White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) vs. Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson
  • ROH World Television Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Shane Taylor

I can’t believe that many of us (myself included) initially thought the matches for All In felt like the build up to All Out.

That All Out card is pretty poor. It would be a good week of dynamite. But it falls far short of AEW PPV’s usual high quality.

I think Covid is running rampant from the UK tour, combined with travel issues this week. Not to mention the whole situation concerning the apparent planned main event.

Probably not the week of TV anybody had hoped for.

That said, I think the PPV will be solid and give a lot of people a chance to elevate their stature and standing.

COVID is definitely affecting people that went to the UK sadly.

I still think the pay-per-view isn’t too bad. I like the main event of Omega vs Takeshita. I don’t know why Shane Taylor is on this paper view. I would rather they put Athena in or something.
