The new SmackDown Women’s Champion recaps her recent match.

For the second time in her pro wrestling career, Ronda Rousey is SmackDown Women’s Champion. She won the title this past Saturday at the Extreme Rules Premium Live Event.

Rousey defeated Liv Morgan via referee stoppage. Taking to her YouTube gaming stream, Rousey spoke about the portion of the match when she was hitting Morgan with the baseball bat.

She explained that she continuously hit Morgan on her backside because she was concerned that if she hit Morgan in the rib or back area, she could possibly suffer an injury.

You know what’s so funny? It’s a bat. You kind of have to be careful where you hit people with it and I felt bad because Liv . Kind of felt bad later like yeah, her butt must look bad today.

Rousey went on to share the idea she pitched for the finish of the match. She stated that she wanted it to involve thumbtacks and she wanted Morgan to introduce them.

Morgan was going to powerbomb Rousey into the thumbtacks and when they got around to Morgan losing, Rousey would have her in a submission with Liv laying in the tacks. That idea along with the idea of using screws or small pins was denied.

Yeah, actually I pitched the finish to be on thumbtacks put down thumbtacks and powerbomb me onto the thumbtacks and then as a repeat of our finish before, I would go for the arm bar on the thumbtacks but they start counting the pin but then I would have to push up onto my one shoulder, like into the thumbtacks to keep the arm bar on… and Liv would be biting her hand trying not to tap and then pass out face down into the thumbtacks and have her hand there to protect her face. But, they said we can’t do thumbtacks anymore. That legally, we can’t purposely injure people and cut their skin and stuff. I don’t know, so I was like, ‘Well, how about tiny, little maple leaf pins?’ They’re like, ‘No.’ I’m like, ‘How about a bunch of screws? There on the side, it’s the ground.’ They said, ‘Nope.’ So…

As the referee was stopping the match, Morgan could be seen smiling as she faded. Ronda joked that most people would be smiling if they were in the same position Liv was in.

I mean, let’s be honest, a lot of people would be smiling in that position . But yeah, I mean it was kind of handy that there was a broken table right there that I could grab and grind into her neck but, apparently she’s into that kind of thing.

Rousey’s first SmackDown Women’s Title reign began at WrestleMania Backlash. She lost the title when Liv cashed in on her at Money in the Bank.
